Boise Chorus chartered on June 22, 1970. We've had a few name changes over the years: Boise (from 1970-1977), Treasure Valley (1977-1987), Boise Valley (1987-1999), Treasure Valley Showtime (1999-2013), Syringa Sound (formed in 2010, merged in 2013), Capital City Sound (2013-present). Directed by Jerrie Beyrodt and Andy Maddox, Capital City Sound Chorus has 22 members and this year has welcomed an additional 6 guest to join in the "Christmas Chorus". Holiday and non-holiday songs will be performed in 4-part barbershop harmony. Dr. Svetlana Maddox will also favor the audience with beautiful piano music. There will be a silent auction to raise funds for the chorus. The venue is requiring face masks for all attendees. We hope former members and directors will be able to attend to help us party!
