Boise Music Week Variety Night

This was the first time that Capital City Sound chorus was asked to perform on the Boise Music Week Variety Night - and what a variety show it was! Circus acts, dancers, accordion players, jump rope skippers, singers and a forgettable magician. We prepared a 12-15 minute set and then were asked to increase that to a 15-20 minute set. We entertained the modest sized crowd by singing Swing Down Chariot, Can't Take My Eyes off of You, It's a Good Day, A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes, Shallow and As Long as I'm Singing. Our very own Chordials quartet found an arrangement of You Don't Own Me and wowed the audience in their borrowed Pink Lady jackets. A great time was had by all!
