This was the first time that Capital City Sound chorus was asked to perform on the Boise Music Week Variety Night - and what a variety show it was! Circus acts, dancers, accordion players, jump rope skippers, singers and a forgettable magician. We prepared a 12-15 minute set and then were asked to increase that to a 15-20 minute set. We entertained the modest sized crowd by singing Swing Down Chariot, Can't Take My Eyes off of You, It's a Good Day, A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes, Shallow and As Long as I'm Singing. Our very own Chordials quartet found an arrangement of You Don't Own Me...

What an amazing night!

We knocked it out of the barbershop ballpark!

Our (hopefully) First Annual Barbershop Music Appreciation Concert was a smash hit. All the quartets rocked it! Gail’s emceeing brought the fun. Thanks for directing the mega chorus, Jerrie!

The Boise Chordsmen were so helpful with bringing their risers. We got so many compliments about this concert, the audience was so engaged and...

A blustery wind whipped through the parking  lot at Heatherwood Senior Living on Friday, November 11, 2022.  It was Veteran’s Day, and inside the residents had gathered for lunch and much-anticipated entertainment through the meal.  The residents were particularly interested in this entertainment because a member of their own Staff would be in the chorus.  As the chorus filed in, all eyes were searching.  There she was!  Their very own Hope!  With high energy, the chorus began singing four-part a cappella, beginning with “Best Day of My Life.”  As the show progressed, the lively audience...

On a lovely evening in early June 2021, a small group from Capital City Sound Chorus wowed the home crowd at Memorial Stadium with a 4-part acapella rendition of the National Anthem. That night the Boise Hawks took on the Great Falls Voyagers and won 6-5! We look forward to other opportunities to sing the national anthem.
