A small group from Capital City Sound Chorus sang the National Anthem at Memorial Stadium on July 2 before the start of the Boise Hawks baseball game. The visiting team, the Missoula Paddleheads, scored 2 runs in the top of the 9th inning so the Hawks ended up losing 3-2. A good time was had by all.
On a lovely evening in early June 2021, a small group from Capital City Sound Chorus wowed the home crowd at Memorial Stadium with a 4-part acapella rendition of the National Anthem. That night the Boise Hawks took on the Great Falls Voyagers and won 6-5! We look forward to other opportunities to sing the national anthem.
Capital City Sound quartets (count ‘em, three!) had a wonderful evening last Friday night performing at the annual Quartet Extravaganza, held at the St. Alphonsus McCleary Auditorium and sponsored by the Boise Chordsmen. In Treble Again quartet wraps up a tag to “Frog Kissin’” here. The other Capital City Sound quartets were Loose Ends and Serendipity.
Thank you, Boise Chordsmen, for a GREAT show with a total of eight talented quartets from the Boise Chordsmen and Capital City Sound!!
